SUNCA at 2022 Taipei Computex
SUNCA at Computex!
Starting from May 24th to 27th, Computex was hosted at Taipei Nangang exhibition center, showcasing the newest products from various industries across the globe! It was a huge event and we SUNCA were definitely interested in seeing the hottest creations from the market. And thus, we have visited the 2022 Computex!
One of the best technology shows this year
At Computex, we have seen a lot of cool stuff from different businesses. Anything that you could imagine was there, but also anything that you couldn’t imagine was also presented. For example, Robotic machinery and dogs were brought to the place! The precise moment and calculation of each machine were surely stunting. The current AI technology is advanced to a point that we can say it is “scary” but yet beneficial for the future.
USB 4.0 and 8k technology in the rising
Beside looking through innovation from other industries, we also have checked out our competitors and what they offered. Unsurprisingly, USB 4.0 was presented by many cable manufacturers. There are little differences between the 4.0 and the previous generation on the appearance, but the speed and its capability has become more improved on the newer version. Other than that, 8k technology is slowly becoming a standard for the electronic industry according to what we saw at the show. Almost every HDMI and USB type C cable had the capability of transmitting 8K resolution from the video source. Some of the HDMI cables were even made with fiber optical cable, meaning the length of the cable can be long without affecting the data transmission. It is exciting to see the upcoming changes and we are prepared for it too!
Business opportunities in the AR market
One of the highlights of the exhibition was the AR products at the event. To our surprise, the AR headset is now a common product in the advanced technology market. We even tried out one of the AR headsets at the show, and it was amazing to see a high resolution image through a small device on a pair of glasses. Though most of the AR products we saw at the show were mostly for industrial use, they would surely become more and more common in everyday electronics in the near future.
It was a wonderful experience and we were happy to be able to attend the event. We are looking forward to the next one!
